This large concession has three well equipped camps (North, West and South), it also has a large number of Bongos of the highest quality, as well as excellent Forest Elephant trophies. Furthermore, “The Boumba” forest concession accounts for 40% of the total amount of licences granted by the Cameroon Government to hunt Dwarf Buffalo and Forest Sitatungas. Because of “The Boumba” Forest having been a completely isolated and remote area, there is an abundant diversity of animals. Therefore, there are excellent numbers of all kinds of Duikers, Bates Pygmy Antelope, Bush Pig, as well as the secretive and desirable Giant Forest Hog.
BOUMBA NORTH
Our VIP forest camp. Great for elephant and the best camp for buffalo! Many vehicle tracks available, which make the salines easily reachable.
BOUMBA SOUTH
Best area for bongos and elephants. Also has different kind of duikers. It has very few vehicle tracks. Most of the time you need to walk or use a canoe to arrive at the salines.
Excellent area for sitatunga. Very good for bongo and elephant too. Its bordering Covaref 6, so we can hunt both zones from camp inside Covaref 1.
Located just inside the border of Cameroon with Congo and R.C.A. and protected by the Lobeke National Park. This is a classical bongo hunting area: the forest crossed by old forestal routes, so a vehicle is used during the hunt.
A new camp was re-constructed in 2008, with impressive waterfall views.
